Week #21 - January 5th-January 12th
I finally finished assembling the plant electrophysiology board for the science fair. The process of distilling complex experiments into a cohesive presentation taught me a lot about clear communication and has sparked ideas for future research to expand on this work.
I’m getting ready to travel to Pasadena, California, for an Enterprise Neurosystem conference and possibly a tour of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Caltech. The upcoming trip is motivating me to prepare questions and topics to discuss with the professionals I’ll meet there.
At the same time, my schedule feels more packed than ever. I’m studying for USACO competitions, preparing for the March SAT, and keeping up with my regular classes. It’s a challenging balancing act, but I see it as a transition period—moving from project completion toward new research and academic challenges.
