Week #17 - December 8th-December 15th

This week brought some exciting milestones. My team qualified for BPA Regionals through our Network Design project and our networking exam score, which was a rewarding payoff for our hard work. We’re now preparing for the next level of competition, and I’m eager to see how far we can go.

In ISM, I started planning and printing a poster board for my plant monitoring project. Organizing the project visually has helped me clarify my narrative and think critically about how to communicate the system’s design and impact. After the long winter break, it took some effort to readjust my study habits, but I’m back into the groove of balancing schoolwork with ISM.

Looking ahead, I’m outlining my final ISM project, which aims to advance the plant monitoring system by integrating AI and new sensor technology. I also want to expand my professional network; after my recent MIT contact, I’m exploring more mentors who can offer fresh perspectives. Building these connections feels like the next step toward turning my ideas into reality.
