Week #16 - December 1st-December 8th
After the chaos of finals, I finally had the chance to reset. I caught up on much needed sleep and used the downtime to reflect on my progress this semester. I also started collaborating on a science fair project with a friend, drafting a research proposal for the MIT THINK Scholars Program. The opportunity to combine our interests into a structured research plan has been both challenging and inspiring.
At the same time, I began researching and applying to summer programs that align with my goals in electrical and environmental engineering. Navigating applications while continuing to study for my BPA test has kept my schedule busy, but it’s exciting to think about the possibilities these opportunities could open up.
Unfortunately, I caught the flu toward the end of the week, which slowed me down more than I anticipated. Even so, I still managed to celebrate Christmas with my family, and the holiday provided a welcome moment of joy and perspective. I’m feeling rested and ready to start the next phase of my journey with renewed resilience.
