Week #15 - November 24th-December 1st
This week followed a familiar yet intense cycle of tests and preparation. I finally took the December SAT and, after some reflection, decided to shift my focus to the ACT for upcoming testing. It’s been an exhausting but valuable experience to push through multiple standardized tests, and I’m proud of the resilience I’ve built along the way.
On the mentorship front, I scheduled a call for December 23rd with Dr. Rahul Bhattacharyya from MIT’s Auto‑ID Lab. I’m looking forward to learning about his work on sensing systems and exploring potential research collaboration. Knowing that this conversation is on the calendar has given me an extra boost of motivation as I wrap up the semester.
Academically, I was buried under a mountain of calculus, statistics, and physics tests, all while finalizing my Business Professionals of America competition paper and completing the ISM Original Work deliverables. The workload has been daunting, but it’s also taught me to prioritize effectively and push through to get things done. With the semester coming to a close, I’m determined to complete everything to the best of my ability before the break.
