Week #13 - November 10th-November 17th

This week was full of planning, progress, and exciting opportunities. I set up another call with Enterprise Neurosystem, this time coordinated directly with the founder, Bill Wright, so I could finally speak with Leo Hoarty. Unfortunately, Leo wasn’t able to make it, but we rescheduled the meeting for tomorrow. Even with the delay, I’m grateful for how much support ENS has shown me in helping build real connections in the IoT and AI space and look forward to my call tomorrow.

In BPA, I’ve been organizing members and making sure everyone is aligned with their events. I also officially began outlining both of my competition projects—the computer networking research paper for one event and the web application for the other. Getting these started early feels good, and it ties in well with the technical foundation I’m building in ISM.

On the academic side, I’ve been doing a lot of math practice, preparing for upcoming assessments while also looking forward to Thanksgiving break. The break will give me more freedom to dive into my personal projects and spend uninterrupted time building and experimenting.

The highlight of the week, though, was hearing back from an MIT research professor. He replied with genuine enthusiasm and said he was impressed by my background and interests. He mentioned that his group’s work aligns well with mine, especially in areas involving sensing systems and low‑power embedded devices, and he’s excited to chat further. We’re currently arranging a meeting for early December to discuss potential involvement in his research and ways I might contribute.
