Week #7 - September 29th-October 6th
This week was an emotional roller coaster, marked by both setbacks and meaningful progress. I took the October SAT, which unfortunately turned out to be the most difficult version of the test this year. Despite dedicating countless hours to preparation and practice tests, the experience was disappointing and frustrating. It’s discouraging to feel like all the hard work led to the toughest exam yet, but I’ve realized that all I can do now is move forward and refocus my energy on the November SAT. Every challenge is a learning opportunity, and this one has taught me the importance of resilience and consistency, even when the outcome isn’t ideal.
On a more positive note, I attended an Enterprise Neurosystem meeting, which is a nonprofit organization focused on IoT and AI solutions for environmental monitoring, perfectly aligning with my ISM topic and future goals. The session was incredibly insightful, offering a firsthand look at how professionals in my field collaborate, communicate, and share ideas. I even had the opportunity to introduce myself and present a short slideshow about my interests and work. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and several attendees expressed genuine interest in what I’m doing. I also connected with a few professionals from the meeting, including one who showed potential as a future mentor. Overall, while the week had difficulties, it still had inspiration and new opportunities that reignited my passion for the intersection of IoT and AI.
